Dr. Wendy Williams Elected President of the Association of Women Executives in Corrections

The Association of Women Executives in Corrections (AWEC) is pleased to announce the election of Dr. Wendy Williams to the position of President of the Association.

Dr. Williams  was sworn in September 28, 2025, and will serve a two-year term with: President-Elect, Kathy Kenney (Kentucky); Vice President, Maria Shirey (Utah); Secretary, Kuma Deboo (Colorado); Treasurer, Heidi Steward (Oregon), and Immediate Past President, Pelicia Hall (Mississippi).
