The AWEC Board of Directors, which includes all past presidents, are elected by the membership and serve a term of two years.  The Executive Committee, comprising the President, President Elect, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Immediate Past President, administers the agency on a day-to-day basis with the assistance of the part-time Executive Director. The Board of Directors meets at annual gatherings and may conduct business electronically as needed.
